The
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) certificate is offered by the
Department of Geography and Urban Analysis at Cal State, Los Angeles.
The certificate provides students with up-to-date theory and technology
in spatial analysis, including: GIS, remote sensing, and spatial
statistics. It also provides students with a non-degree alternative
for acquiring a recognized certification for GIS competency. A total
of 32 - 33 units in the following courses is required for the certificate.
